My name is Elliott McCormack, or Single Malt Mack.
I am a self-proclaimed whisky enthusiast and collector from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.
I’m passionate about all things whisk(e)y and enjoy collecting, tasting and reviewing as many different whisky expressions as I can.
Not only do I enjoy building my collection, but I thoroughly enjoy the personal connections that are made through whisky.
Whisky is much more than a drink or a spirit. It is a conversation starter, a social fuel and a memory creator. One of my favourite things to do is pour a dram from a bottle I haven’t had in a while, and let the scent and flavour of that dram remind me of great times with friends and family. After all, Everything’s better with a dram!
Early in 2020, I really dove head first into whisky. My instagram account (@singlemaltmack) has grown substantially, I built my own home bar, my collection has grown from about a dozen bottles to well over 100 bottles and I have met some incredible people in the whisky community.
I’ve now turned my passion for whisky into a small business that allows me to share my enthusiasm form whisky with others during tasting events and custom tasting kits.
I have also begun to work with brands to promote product through social media and during in person tastings. I sincerely enjoy working with brands, meeting industry professionals and learning more about whisky as I continue my whisky journey.
